OUR IMPACT
Capital M is funding targeted interventions to develop the menstrual health market by strengthening regulations, building private sector capacity, and improving enterprise access to finance.
With a current footprint in Kenya, Nigeria and Uganda, Capital M’s ambition is to
unlock menstrual health markets in up to 15 LMICs by 2030.
SOME OF THESE
ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:
Tackling structural barriers such as the
lack of global standards and
dedicated Harmonized System (HS) Codes for menstrual products to unlock markets, improve trade and expand access for women and girls.
Empowering public and private market actors with comprehensive menstrual health market assessments
for targeting interventions, private sector activity and funding.
Supporting MH enterprises across sub-Saharan Africa to develop scalable business models that can expand access to menstrual products of choice, including reusables, across the continent.
